Quality Assurance
Committed to Quality PCB Fabrication
Passion, commitment, and trust are what it takes to deliver quality PCB fabrication and service our customers can count on. Whether you need a low-volume run for a new product introduction or a high-volume production order, you need a consistent product and a fast turnaround, which is exactly what our process is built to deliver.
Our quality management system exceeds industry, regulatory, and national and international standards, so we get it right the first time. Quality planning is built into every stage of the process, from the executives who set direction to the technicians running the line. Everyone at AdvancedPCB works toward the same goal: PCBs manufactured to your exact specifications, using the best available materials, processes, and equipment.
That same system governs how we control materials, processes, and verification activities at every stage of fabrication. The result is a controlled, repeatable environment that lets customers count on reliable boards, delivered fast, from an industry leader in turnaround time. Material selection follows the same discipline: laminate Tg, copper weight, and prepreg resin content are matched to each design's thermal, impedance, and mechanical requirements, so the finished board performs the way it was engineered to.
Inside the Process
Quality PCB fabrication comes down to getting dozens of individual steps right, in sequence, every time. Our process covers design data verification and DFM review; material selection and incoming inspection; inner-layer imaging and etching; layup and lamination; drilling and hole metallization; outer-layer imaging and plating; solder mask application; surface finish; profiling and routing; and final inspection and test. At each stage, defined acceptance and rejection criteria keep both the process and the product consistent.
Layer alignment gets particular attention. Inner-layer AOI checks artwork accuracy, registration systems keep layers aligned through lamination, and post-lamination X-ray targets confirm layer-to-layer offset stays within tolerance. Statistical process control tracks registration trends over time, so drift gets caught before it becomes a problem.
To catch defects before boards ship, we combine visual inspection with automated optical inspection for shorts, opens, and etch anomalies; X-ray inspection for via integrity and layer registration; microsection analysis for plated-through-hole quality; and electrical test via flying probe or fixture.
Stellar Service
Exceptional service makes for stronger business, and total customer satisfaction drives everything we do from quality leadership, and continuous operational improvement, to personal, customer support that goes beyond the spec sheet.
Helping our customers to the best of our ability is the heart of our business. We're constantly looking for ways to improve, because service is our real differentiator in this industry. What sets AdvancedPCB apart is detailed engineering support that strengthens quality PCB manufacturing results before a board ever hits the line.
The AdvancedPCB Advantage
- Multifaceted Quality Assurance Program. Our production process includes acceptance and rejection criteria for 90+ processes, plus final inspection with random sampling to confirm hole sizes and dimensions fall within tolerance for every part number
- Electrical testing on request, including flying probe and fixture-based testing, to validate net continuity and isolation.
- 100% visual inspection covering workmanship, cleanliness, solder mask registration, legend clarity, and surface finish integrity.
- Standby support for unique project needs, with a wide range of customization options including material selection, stackup optimization, and controlled impedance builds.
Our standard lead times consistently beat industry averages, with quick-turn capabilities in through-hole technology and exceptional quality throughout.
